What exactly is Epoxy Coating?

Many people mistake epoxy coating for paint, especially because it comes in a variety of hues. This is simply not the case. Paint is a latex acrylic product, and the name "epoxy paint" may have originated when certain paint producers began incorporating a small quantity of epoxy into their goods and labeling them as epoxy paint. In fact, the phrase has become so ubiquitous that some epoxy coating manufacturers refer to their products as "paint" simply because that is what most people name them.
As a result, never confuse epoxy coating with epoxy paint, as the latter is not epoxy. And in terms of durability, strength, longevity, and chemical resistance, the former clearly outperforms the latter by a factor of a hundred.
